The rules

Terms of use

Last updated: 22 September 2026

These terms govern your purchase and use of Tab Bandit (the “App”), a macOS application published by Prestige Worldwide Limited (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Gibraltar. By buying or using the App, you agree to them.

1. Your licence

When you buy Tab Bandit you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the App on Macs you own or control. It’s a one-time purchase — pay once, use it, with no subscription and no account required. You may not resell, redistribute, rent, or sublicense the App or your licence.

2. Payments and the seller of record

Orders are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), who handle the transaction, applicable sales tax/VAT, invoicing, and order-related enquiries. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms. Prices are shown at checkout in your currency where available.

3. What the App does

Tab Bandit watches your open browser tabs and, when one has sat unused past your chosen idle threshold, closes it and moves it to the App’s local “Stash”, from which it can be restored. It reads tab titles and links and closes tabs; it does not modify page content or transmit your browsing data (see our Privacy Policy). You’re responsible for how you configure it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the App except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law, and not to use it unlawfully.

5. No warranty

The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. While Tab Bandit keeps closed tabs in its Stash so they can be restored, we do not guarantee it will be error-free or that no data will ever be lost, and you use it at your own risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prestige Worldwide Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App.

7. Updates and changes

We may release updates to the App and may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted here. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Gibraltar, and the courts of Gibraltar will have jurisdiction, without affecting any statutory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
